Amodio & Co. Real Estate is pleased to announce the $875,000 sale of 27-39 Main Street, New Britain, CT. The 29,948 SF three story mixed use property featured existing retail tenants, billboard income, newer windows/roof and ample on-site parking. The two upper floors are vacant and ready for development. The buyer plans on turning the two upper floors into New York style artist loft spaces as well as creating a Japanese cultural center, likely in a portion of the retail space. Eric Amodio of Amodio & Co. represented the seller, 27-39 Main Street, LLC, and Frank Amodio of Amodio & Co represented the buyer, Masuda Putnam, LLC. The sale was part of a 1031 tax deferred exchange, which included several other purchases in Connecticut that Amodio & Co represented.
