Amodio & Co. Real Estate is pleased to announce the sale of 43 Osgood Avenue, New Britain, CT. The former 61,820 square foot Israel Putnam School on 2.62 acres will undergo construction in the coming months, transforming the property into an attractive multifamily conversion project according to the buyer, Total Comfort Realty. In recent years, the property has endured several tax auctions, before finally being acquired by Joseph Zaleski. Most recently the property was foreclosed by former lien holder, Industrial Mold and Tool, finally transferring title to Total Comfort Realty. The sale marks a win for the City of New Britain, as blighted property is rehabbed to higher value uses and added back to the tax roll. Amodio & Co. represented both the buyer and seller in this transaction.
