Frank Amodio, Sr, CCIM and Eric Amodio, CCIM of Amodio & Co represented Goodwin University in the 34,380 sf sale of 1137 Main, 1125 Main and 16 Orchard Streets in East Hartford. The property was mostly leased at time of sale, with parking for 122 cars. The building was originally built as a bank headquarters, then purchased by Goodwin Universtiy for office and classroom use. The buyer, Bailey’s Real Estate, from Orlando, Florida purchased the property for $1,300,000.

Frank Amodio, Jr of Amodio & Co represented the buyer and seller in the sale of 36 North Street, New Britain, CT. The property traded for $250,000 from Deeper Life Bible Church to Redeemed Christian Church of God. The property was originally built in 1943 by the Italian-American World War Veterans as a social club.

Amodio & Co Real Estate completes the lease of 2,551 sf office to Environmental Health & Safety Consultants, LLC. The second floor suite at 21 Cooke Street, Plainville, CT was formerly a pediatric medical office. The new tenant plans interior renovations to transform the space.

Their first sale in 2018 traded for $980,000 with the buyer’s intentions of leasing up the vacant office space. Amodio was retained for this assignment, however, Amodio identified higher value in ultimately selling as a residential conversion. After substantial buyer interest & multiple offers, Amodio procured a developer who obtained City approvals for a 100-unit residential conversion.
